Reed Harradine - Driven Competitor in Soccer and Football
Reed Harradine is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he also serves as the first-string kicker and kickoff specialist for the Golden Eagles.
He previously attended Grambling State University, where he combined his academic focus in finance and accounting with success on the football field as a kicker and punter. During his time at Grambling, he was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success and worked toward his long-term goal of joining the NFL—or using his financial expertise to secure a professional role within the league.
Mr. Harradine’s athletic foundation began in soccer. He joined his first team at the age of three and began competing in organized leagues by age eight. He built a strong reputation as a goalkeeper, competing at elite levels through the Olympic Development Program and the Elite Competitive National League. While attending Mountain Brook High School, he helped lead his team to a state championship, delivering standout performances including five consecutive shutouts. During this time, he also contributed to the sport as a referee for youth matches involving players aged eight to twelve.
At 14, Mr. Harradine expanded his athletic focus to football, training under the guidance of Coach Mike McCabe at One On One Kicking, a nationally recognized program for developing kickers and punters. His dedication to the craft continues, as he remains an active offseason trainee with the program. In addition to his own development, he has mentored young athletes in Birmingham, Alabama, helping them build fundamental skills in kicking and punting.
Mr. Harradine initially enrolled at the University of Alabama, where he committed to football full-time. His academic and athletic journey has since taken him through Grambling State and now to Southern Miss, where he continues to pursue excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
